The strategic scenario for the design concept of this project is based on building a summer penthouse for weekends.

The main challenge for this project was the fact that it is located in the local neighborhood and adjacent to the main boulevard of Roodehen, a small city near to Tehran.

In order to achieve the dream of having a villa in the mentioned context, the initial step was to create privacy and control the adjacency of the dense neighborhood texture to provide the new usage of the space from different cultural aspect.

To provide the balance between two main contradicted keywords of the design process, (Transparency inside and solidity from outside), two inner courtyards play an intermediary role in between two independent spaces which reminded us of the privacy concept in Iranian architecture to created an opportunity to revive this concept with the taste to the contemporary design.
